Takeaway websites in Southampton that take orders without the commission.

01 / What you get

Built for a Friday night.

The bit that matters isn’t the website. It’s whether the order gets to the kitchen when you’re three deep.

01

Collection ordering

Customer builds the order, pays or pays on collection, picks a time. It lands with you as a ticket, not an email you might miss.

02

Alerts that don’t fail quietly

This is the thing cheap systems get wrong. Ours keep making noise until somebody accepts, because a silently dropped order costs you a customer for good.

03

A menu that handles reality

Sizes, meal deals, extras, swaps, “no onions”. If your board has six salad options and a two-for-twelve, it copes.

04

Money straight to you

Card payments go into your own Stripe account and reach your bank the next working day. 1.9% + 30p per online payment, and nothing on cash.

05

Open and closed, on time

Set your hours and the ordering closes itself. No more turning off a tablet or fielding calls about an order you can’t cook.

06

Found on Google

Menu, hours, hygiene rating and location marked up so search engines and Maps read them correctly. That’s how the “kebab near me” searches find you.

Website, domain, hosting, SSL, backups and support all included. Full Food plan →

04 / FAQ

Takeaway questions, answered.

Including whether this gets you off the delivery apps. Short answer: not entirely, and here’s why that’s fine.

Does this replace Just Eat or Deliveroo?
Not on day one, and we wouldn’t pretend otherwise, the platforms bring you customers who’ve never heard of you, and that’s worth something. What your own site does is stop you paying commission on the people who already know you. Regulars, collection customers, anyone who found you on Google: send them to your own page and the whole order value stays with you. Most places run both and watch the balance shift.
What does the commission actually cost me?
The big platforms take a percentage of every order, and the rate depends on the deal you signed. It’s commonly a double-digit percentage, and higher again if they deliver. On a £25 order that difference adds up fast across a week. Worth digging out your own statement and working out what you paid last month; it’s usually the number that decides this.
How do orders reach the kitchen?
Straight to your phone or tablet with an alert built not to be missed. That’s the part most cheap ordering systems get wrong. You accept the order, the customer gets a confirmation with a collection time. No tablet rental, no separate device.
Is it collection only?
The ordering system handles collection orders, which is where the commission saving is biggest and the operation is simplest. If you run your own drivers we’ll talk through how to fit that around it, but we’re not going to sell you a delivery network we don’t run.
Can it handle a proper menu with options?
Yes. Sizes, meal deals, sauces, extras, swaps. If your menu has “any two for £12” or a kebab with six choices of salad, that’s exactly the sort of thing it’s built for.
What are the payment fees?
Card payments taken online are 1.9% + 30p per transaction, all in, and it goes to your own Stripe account. That’s a card processing fee, not a commission on the order. It doesn’t scale with how much you sell the way a marketplace cut does.
We’re a restaurant, not a takeaway, does it still fit?
Yes. Same site, different emphasis: menu, photos, opening hours and a bookings or enquiry form instead of an order button, or both if you do collection alongside covers.
